The Nampa Public Library began offering curbside pickup of holds during the pandemic and we are pleased to report that, due to its popularity, we will open a permanent option to pick up holds at the window on 3rd St. S. beginning next week. The holds window will be officially opened on Monday, October 19 at 11 a.m. with Mayor Debbie Kling checking out the first item at the window.
The addition of this permanent window, conveniently located next to the outdoor book return, was originally designed as a way for the library to provide contactless pickup for patrons during the COVID-19 crisis, and we are thankful this will be a permanent option for our community long into the future. We ask patrons call 208-468-5812 before coming to the window for pickup.
Nampa Public Library holds pickup window hours are:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 10am-5pm
Tuesday, Thursday: 10am-6pm
Saturday: 10am-2pm
Nampa Library Director Claire Connley said, “We are thrilled to be able to offer this new service to our patrons. It will be valuable to many in our community who make use of it.”
The library is currently open for limited services. Hours of operation for browsing and using the Computer Lab are as follows:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 1-5pm
Tuesday, Thursday: 2-6pm
Saturday: 10am-2pm
Please schedule your Computer Lab session at nampalibrary.org/computerlab. Browsing is limited to 50 patrons at one time, with a time limit of 30 minutes.
