Residents who are willing to donate a 40 foot or taller evergreen, pine or spruce tree are encouraged to contact the department by calling (208) 468-5890 by or before October 16.

Please keep in mind the following guidelines when donating a tree:

  1. The tree should be at least 40’ or taller.
  2. The tree must be an evergreen, pine or spruce tree.
  3. The tree must be close to a main city road for easy access, removal and transportation. No backyard trees please.
