The board is comprised of three (3) City of Nampa staff, as well as three (3) citizens at large who are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Nampa City Council. Citizens serve on a rotational basis with staggered four year terms. The Board of Appraisers recommend all water, sewer and irrigation rates, charges and/or fees, conduct hearings, and hear appeals from Nampa utility customers. The board decisions must be presented to Council for approval.
Currently one citizen at large position is available. The applicant must live within Nampa city limits as well as receive water, sewer and irrigation services. The board typically meets quarterly.
