The City of Nampa will accept Christmas trees for recycling from Wednesday, December 26, 2018 through Friday, January 18, 2019.  Trees may be dropped off at Kohlerlawn Cemetery, located at 76 6th Street North, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Residents are able to follow the signs on Weamer Lane for the drop-off location at the compost site within the cemetery.  The staff at the cemetery office are available to answer questions regarding the drop-off location or by calling 208-468-5898 prior to drop-off.

Due to Kohlerlawn Cemetery funeral service schedules, residents are asked to only leave trees at the dedicated drop off site and not at the cemetery office or cemetery shop.

Trees must be free of stands, lights, ornaments, tinsel and other objects.  The Christmas trees will be mulched and used throughout the City on walking paths and in tree wells.
