City of Nampa Finance Director Vikki Chandler has announced she will retire effective November 21, 2018.
Chandler said, “It has been my privilege to serve the citizens of Nampa for the past 10 years. I have been most grateful for this opportunity. I have found Nampa civil servants to be dedicated, hard-working, and accountable. They are not only creative and enthusiastic about their duties within city government but they make good things happen within our community, both small and large. The term government worker has a very positive image for me because I’ve known them from the inside out and they are awesome people.”
Chandler will celebrate her 10-year anniversary as a valued employee of the City of Nampa on November 16, 2018.
Mayor Debbie Kling said, “Vikki’s leadership and oversight in the City’s finance department for the past decade has been vital. On behalf of the City of Nampa, I wish to extend sincere appreciation to Vikki for the years of service to our community and wish her the very best in retirement.”
The City of Nampa is looking to fill this position immediately. The position is posted on the city’s human resources website (http://www.cityofnampa.us/hr) and qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
