The Nampa Development Corporation (NDC) has announced a partnership for the development of a 194-acre industrial park located in North Nampa, Idaho, that is owned and will be developed by Adler Industrial, LLC. Adler intends to complete utility extensions for water, sewer and roadway improvements within the project area to facilitate and encourage future development and opportunities for job growth.
In 2019, the Nampa Development Corporation and the City of Nampa assisted with the rezoning of many properties in North Nampa to light industrial to ensure projects like this would happen. The agency will now invest an initial $3 million for the construction of the utility extensions and improvements from Northside Blvd. toward Midland on Ustick Road. Furthermore, the Nampa Development Corporation announced that an additional $7 million will be invested in the project in the form of a tax increment reimbursement incentive for infrastructure of the194-acre industrial park. These funds will be used for infrastructure improvements. Adler will construct the infrastructure and begin development of the Adler Midland Industrial Park over the next years.
Chairman of the Nampa Development Corporation Board of Commissioners, Grant Miller, states that "the completion of this agreement enables the Nampa community to continue to grow and thrive as a key part of the Treasure Valley. Development projects like these ensure that stable, good-paying jobs remain in our community and help to build a strong tax base that keeps Nampa an independent city and not a bedroom community."
This partnership between the Nampa Development Corporation and Adler Industrial will allow for the formation of manufacturing firms, distribution, and food processing and creates a large shovel ready industrial park ideally situated near transportation corridors and the Union Pacific Railroad. The future use and development of this 194-acre piece of land will create an amazing opportunity for job growth in our community. Mike Adler, President of Adler Industrial says, “We are excited to be working with the Nampa Development Corporation to develop a best-in-class Industrial Park that will attract businesses and jobs to Nampa.”
