Saturday, March 20th from 9:00am-12:00pm, Nampa Environmental Compliance Division hosted a small community clean-up event at Lakeview Park for World Water Day. We thank everyone who came out to volunteer!
We couldn't have done it without our amazing community members!
Thank you to all of those who have participated in past Community Clean-up Days!
Here in Nampa, Community Cleanup-Day is the last Saturday in September. With this event, we hope to gather our community members in a fun filled day of learning and activities that are designed to improve the health of Nampa’s water bodies. This all ages event is geared towards keeping our community clean and safe for future generations to enjoy.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we have pushed back our 10th annual Community Clean-up Day.
In past events volunteers have spent mornings doing a variety of activities. Efforts include:
Picking up litter and debris along local waterways
Marking storm drains with decals to remind people not to dump their waste
Placing door hangers on nearby homes with tips on how to prevent stormwater pollution
Your generous service to the community makes a positive impact on the environmental health of our community.
