Councilwoman Sandi Levi was elected to the Nampa City Council in November 2015 and won re-election in 2019.
She has lived in Nampa for 26 years. Before being elected, she attended City Council meetings for 5 1/2 years and has been actively volunteering in Nampa and the Treasure Valley for the past 19 years. Sandi has a passion for her community, to connect people, and support local and small business. Treating others with respect and value while helping them find their purpose is important to her.
After serving eight years as a trustee for the Nampa Public Library, Sandi resigned to begin her service as a councilwoman. She currently serves as a commissioner on the Canyon County Planning and Zoning Commission and is a senior election judge. Sandi is a Director on the Nampa Library Foundation and volunteers with the Salvation Army, Healthy Nampa, Traveling Food Table, Kid’s First Cast, David’s Hope, Nampa Mayor's Teen Council, Nampa Chamber of Commerce, is on the Board of Directors for the God and Country Festival, a member of Women of Vision, and serves as a counselor for Victims of Abuse. She is a member of Heritage Bible Church.
Sandi spent 27 years home educating her children; preschool to college prep. She has also taught at a private school where she created and developed curriculum for high school students and adults. Some of the topics include business, business etiquette, life skills, home economics, health, nutrition, and puppetry. Her signature class is ‘First Impressions’. Sandi loves being a mom. She has raised six children and has three grandchildren. Currently, she is a personal assistant and business consultant.
Sandi enjoys learning, connecting people, working out, reading, and the mountains. Her favorite word is organization. Sandi has an appreciation for inspirational quotes and thought-provoking sayings. Two of her favorite are:

Some of her past activities include: CERT Coordinator for Nampa and Canyon County, a community member of Idaho Press-Tribune Editorial and Reader's Advisory Boards, volunteered with the Nampa Police Department and took part in the Nampa Police Department's Citizen's Police Academy and Citizen's Legal Academy.
