The City of Nampa Clerk's Office is the keeper of permanent and official records for the city and historically serves as the center for information for the public. We also strive to assist department and division supervisors and their employees whenever and however necessary.
Our office provides many services for our citizens. The most common services we provide are passport acceptance, public record requests, business licensing, and voter registration services. If we can't answer your questions, then we'll point you in the right direction.
Our clerk's office is a U.S. passport acceptance facility. The regular hours we operate are Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. We are open until 5:00 PM to prepare passports for mailing and for other city business. In order to complete the processing and mailing of already accepted passports we are unable to receive new applications after 4:00 PM. When our staff is limited this may result in increased wait times on these days, we apologize in advance for the inconvenience.

We are a walk-in facility. We do not schedule appointments.
City Council Meeting Times
City of Nampa Regular Council Meetings are held on the first and third Monday of every month, unless that day is a holiday. If the normal meeting day is a holiday, then the meeting is held on Tuesday. Meetings begin at 6:00 pm in the Nampa City Council Chambers at Nampa City Hall. Public Hearings begin at 7:00 pm.
Agendas & Minutes
An agenda for each meeting is posted on the official bulletin board in City Hall and on the City of Nampa website under the city clerk's department at least 48 hours prior to each meeting.
Agendas are available prior to the meetings. Minutes are available following approval by council. Audio is available in the Agenda Center after each meeting.
