Nampa Police raid two suspected drug houses.

At 5:30 a.m., on Monday July 9, Nampa Police Tactical Response Team members, patrol officers, and members of the Nampa Police Special Investigations Unit served a search warrant at a residence in the 600 block of 7th Avenue North.  The following morning, Tuesday, July 10, at 5:30 a.m., officers served another search warrant in the 600 block of South Olive Street in Nampa.  

“These search warrants are evidence of Nampa Police efforts to disrupt illegal drug activity in the city of Nampa,” said Lt. Eric Skoglund of the Nampa Police Special Investigations Unit.  Lt. Skoglund added, “Places where illicit drug activity is occurring often leads to a higher frequency of other crimes, especially property crimes. We want to help the law-abiding people in these neighborhoods feel safer and more secure in their community.”

At the address on 7th Ave. N., nine people were charged with the following crimes:

1.Charlie Arroyo, age 37Frequenting a place where drugs are used or sold.
2.Stephen A. Gonzales, age 54Possession of a controlled substance, and
Possession of drug paraphernalia.
3.Perla I. Martinez, age 36Possession of a controlled substance (2 counts),
Possession of drug paraphernalia,
Frequenting a place where drugs are used or sold.
4.Kevin Favinger, age 25Unlawful possession of a firearm, and
Frequenting a place where drugs are used or sold.
5.Gary C. Pack, age 57Frequenting a place where drugs are used or sold.
6.John A. Gonzales, age 24Frequenting a place where drugs are used or sold.
7.Kerina A. Martinez, age 22Frequenting a place where drugs are used or sold,
Possession of drug paraphernalia.
8.Gabriela A. Aberasturi, age 18 - Frequenting a place where drugs are used or sold.
9.Andrea S. Maidwell, age 29Frequenting a place where drugs are used or sold.

At the address on Olive St., eleven people were charged with the following crimes:

1.Joshua Wilmott, age 41Frequenting a place where drugs are used or sold.
2.David Wilcox, age 36Possession of drug paraphernalia, and
Frequenting a place where drugs are used or sold.
3.Anthony L. Gibbish, age 28Frequenting a place where drugs are used or sold.
4.Alyisa Mahoney, age 28Frequenting a place where drugs are used or sold.
5.Tammy Curr, age 51Frequenting a place where drugs are used or sold.
6.Russell Jones, age 54Frequenting a place where drugs are used or sold,
Possession of a controlled substance, and
Possession of drug paraphernalia.
7.Hope Staggie, age 19Frequenting a place where drugs are used or sold.
8.Nick Knowles, age 31Warrant for burglary
9.Julian Gonzales, age 24Frequenting a place where drugs are used or sold.
10.Jennifer N. Anderson, age 46 – Frequenting a place where drugs are used or sold.
11.Steven D. Manka, age 45Warrant for probation violation.

All arrestees were transported to the Canyon County Jail and booked in on the respective charges.
