Road Report

The City of Nampa posts a weekly Road Report that includes information about local streets and lane closures.
It is usually posted by Friday for the following Monday. 
We also post the report on Nextdoor.com and the city’s Facebook page.

Road Report for Monday, August 21, 2017

Current road closures in Nampa city

Iowa Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Middleton Road and Midway Road for installation of underground utilities. Traffic in this area should use Lake Lowell Avenue as a detour. Estimated completion: Late-August

Cherry Lane will be closed to through traffic between Midland Boulevard and Ten Lane for road widening as part of St. Luke’s Hospital construction. Traffic in this area should use Karcher Road as a detour. Estimated completion: Late- August

Iowa Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Powerline Road and Chicago Street for installation of underground utilities. Traffic in this area should use Amity Avenue as a detour. Estimated completion: Mid-September

Roosevelt Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Powerline Road and Holly Street for a city water line project in the roadway. Traffic in this area should use Lincoln Avenue as a detour. Estimated completion date: Late Summer. 

Industrial Road will be closed to through traffic between Franklin Boulevard and 11th Avenue North, and 11th Avenue North will be closed to through traffic between Stampede Drive and Comstock Avenue for a road rebuild project. Traffic in this area should use Franklin Boulevard as a detour. Estimated completion date: Fall.

Lake Lowell Avenue will be closed to through traffic between 12th Avenue Road and Canyon Street for a pedestrian improvements project near Nampa High School. Traffic in this area should use Iowa Avenue as a detour. Substantially complete by end of day, Aug. 22. 

Current pathway closures in Nampa city

Wilson Pathway will be closed to pedestrian traffic  from approximately 700 feet south of Lake Lowell Avenue to approximately 600 feet west of Midland Boulevard for a city pedestrian crossing improvements project. Pedestrian traffic in this area should use indicated detours. Vehicle traffic in this area will be minimally affected. Estimated completion date: Fall.
